It is about discovering and materialising the client's desires, thoughts and dreams. Rather than simply following trends, it seeks to create spaces that are timeless, forward-thinking and beautiful.
For all this to come together, a holistic approach is essential — one that considers every element visible within an interior as part of a complex, interconnected whole. If we want an entire space to feel harmonious and speak a common language, we need to bring graphic design and visual identity, communication and branding, landscape architecture and planting, architecture, fashion and workwear design, product and furniture design, and fine art into the process.
Kinoki is a boutique design studio built around a core team of three — Virág, Szabi and Máté. For every project, we assemble the wider creative team from our network of partner companies, selecting the right specialists for the specific requirements of the project. This allows us to work on particularly sensitive and challenging projects that demand a high level of creativity and a strong aesthetic vision. We oversee and lead the entire project throughout both the design and construction phases. We remain the client's primary point of contact throughout the entire process.
Kinoki does not aim to turn its own style into a brand. We believe that the true source of interior architecture is the client themselves. That is why no two spaces should ever be alike, something our work reflects. We do not believe in design for design's sake.
